This new adaptation of Le Comte de Monte Cristo is exquisite. I had the chance to see it twice in cinemas here. First with an actress I was dating and the second time with a friend in the epic salle at Châtelet where the screen is like four stories tall. French audiences absolutely love it. From the same cinéastes who did another Dumas adaptation of Les Trois Mousquetaires…
